Whatever the future holds for Tesla, one thing is certain: last week’s unveiling of the Model 3 working prototype was nothing sort of phenomenal.
Considering it broke the internet without even being the finished item, which is almost two years away, even that term is an understatement.
By now, we know all there is to know about the 3. It’ll start from $35k in rear-wheel drive configuration, its range will exceed 215 miles, it’ll accelerate from naught to sixty in six seconds etc.
Yet we don’t even know how it’s going to look like, for it’s still a work in progress and Elon Musk has admitted that some changes will be implemented. Not that it anyone seemed to mind anyway, as the orders keep flowing in.
Now, for the first time, we can see what the Model 3 looks like in the metal, as a silver example has been caught during filming for what we presume is going to be official Tesla promo material.
So, here’s it is; not on some conference hall but out on the streets. What say you, does it gel or is it just an overhyped iPhone on four wheels?
