Since Alfa’s BMW M3-fighter made its debut in June last year we’ve since learned most of its features, yet it still has lots of tricks under its stunning body.
Now it’s time to bring them to the light. Something inevitable, since the official launch at Balloco marked the start for proper testing.
Vloger Shmee150, for instance, spotted that it comes with auto downshift rev-matching, and also lets you perform full-throttle shifting – also known as “powershifting”, a gear changing technique that doesn’t require the driver to take his foot off the accelerator pedal during upshifts.
Moreover, the Giulia QV seems tuned to flatter the driver, making its twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 engine, which develops 503 HP, fairly tamable – at least if you don’t set the entire rig in race mode.
