Chevrolet is launching a new lifestyle-oriented website meant to shine a light on their small car lineup comprised of the Spark minicar, Sonic and Trax small SUV.
The website is called ChevySmallCars.com and will be hosting content designed for younger customers, allowing them to engage and discover small Chevrolet models “on their own terms”.
Those who visit the URL will also come across ‘Small Talk’, a three-episode featurette’ produced by Funny or Die and hosted by comedian Al Madrigal.
Another important part of the website will be the ‘Find Your Smallmate’ section where visitors will be able to take a quiz and get matched up with the small car that best fits their personality.
Last but not least you have the ‘Sonic Sessions’ with up-and-coming artists Kickstand Band performing one of their songs in a Chevrolet Sonic.
“Sonic, Spark and Trax customers are likely to be first-time new car buyers and traditionally are more likely to stay with the brand as their needs and lifestyle changes and they need to move up to a bigger sedan or SUV,” said Steve Majoros, Chevy’s director of cars and crossovers. “We’ve introduced a lot of new vehicles in the last few years and the new website is a great way to expose a portion of our portfolio that not everyone knows about.”
Chevy’s new microsite will soon feature additional content such as Customizer (wacky customization ideas for the cars), Custom Podcast with John Hodgman, Mini Mix Tape with three up-and-coming artists, Upgrade Me (hacking small living spaces) and Small Victories – with the latter being a celebration of everything “small”.
