Meet Charlize Theron’s Fast 8 Character, Cipher

After the success she had as ‘Furiosa’ in last year’s Mad Max: Fury Road, it seems that Charlize Theron can’t keep her hands away from the wheel.

The South African actress will be playing the main baddie in latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise and it seems that her name is going to be ‘Cipher’.

Whether that’s just a cool moniker or a specialized code-name, is unknown. But if it does represent her character’s skill set, it could mean that she’ll try to outwit the good guys with her impeccable tech skills.

All speculation aside, the post reads: “Our crew has faced former military, mercenaries and more. But they’ve never come across anyone like Cipher. Charlize Theron stars as their biggest threat yet.”

Theron joins a star-studded cast which most recently welcomed Scott Eastwood to the family – set to play Kurt Russell’s Mr Nobody’s new protege.

Fast 8 is due in theaters on 4.14.17.
