Get your speakers ready for some Lamborghini music, courtesy of the Aventador SV Roadster.
The video, uploaded by the Supercar Driver, shows the mighty Lambo being driven on a b-road with some good company, allowing us to enjoy one of the purest V12 soundtracks out there.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, the Aventador SV Roadster offers the same 750PS (740hp) and 690Nm (509lb ft) of torque with its hard-top brother, letting one of the angriest engine notes on this planet flood the cabin and its occupants.
With a dry weight of 1,575 kg (3,472 lbs), the Aventador SV Roadster is 50kg (110 lbs) lighter than the ‘normal’ Roadster, offering a stunning power-to-weight ratio of just 2.1kg/hp. 0-62mph comes in 2.9 seconds, a tenth slower than the SV Coupe, with the top speed remaining the same, at 217mph (350km/h).
It’s a very emotional car, but don’t let this fool you into thinking it’s not a proper performer; after all, it’s the only traditional supercar of the current crop that lapped the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes, just a few seconds away from the seemingly much faster and much more expensive Porsche 918 Spyder.
Lamborghini made just 500 of these very special machines and we are very glad to see one of them being driven and enjoyed on a twisty road for a change.
