Remember the Jannarelly Design-1? The classically styled roadster was announced back in December, when it only existed in renderings, but now it’s come to fruition.

The Design-1 is the work of Anthony Jannarelly, the same talent who penned the Lykan Hypersport and Fenyr Supersport for W Motors, in collaboration with carbon-fiber magnate Frederic Juillot. The design draws inspiration from ’60s roadsters like the Shelby Cobra and Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, rendered in composite and powered by a 3.5-liter V6.

With a modest price tag targeted at around $55,000, it’s no surprise that Jannarelly has received an outpouring of interest for the retro roadster. In fact, the company says it has heard from around 80 potential customers, 20 of whom have already placed firm orders.

Armed with that early commercial success, Jannarelly showcased the Design-1 – in the metal this time – at two events in Dubai recently: a private unveiling at Tomini Classics on May 25, and a public presentation at Le Trésor classic car café two days later. Both of which give us the opportunity to see what it looks like in finished form, as you can see for yourself in the images below.

The company has already secured European distribution through Lotus distributor Marcassus Sport. It’s also in the process of negotiating for a potential North American agent as well.
