Vin Diesel won’t drive a Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli in the latest Fast 8 movie of the successful franchise, but this means he’ll missing out on a hypercar that’s more powergul than a LaFerrari.
Rolling out “the most powerful street-legal hypercar ever made in Italy” was Luca Mazzanti’s dream. He has made it come true, as the exotic machine has just celebrated its world premiere at the 2016 Turin Auto Show.
“Presenting in Turin my ultimate Hypercar Evantra Millecavalli has a deep meaning: the most powerful street-legal Hypercar ever made in Italy, officially presented during a brand new Italian show. Meeting car enthusiasts of different ages that appreciate and admire the achievement represented by the exemplar we brought in Turin, is another huge satisfaction that pushes us to go forward, aiming to reach new targets“, said the company’s founder, Luca Mazzanti.
Surrounded by enthusiasts who wanted to take a closer look at the supercar that will be produced in just 25 examples, the Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli, whose name stands for “a thousand horsepower”, utilizes a 7.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that channels 1,000 HP and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential transmission. Going from naught to sixty (96 km/h) takes 2.7 seconds and top speed stands at 250 mph (402 km/h). Pricing has yet to be announced, but it will eclipse the standard Evantra’s £665,000 ($941,550).
