If you are still waiting for BMW to ship your latest ride, then we have some bad news, as a delivery stop has just been ordered on certain models.
According to BimmerPost, citing a bulletin released by the manufacturer, the vehicles will be kept away from their owners for an undisclosed amount of time, due to a problem with their rear differentials that will need to be replaced.
The bulletin that accompanies the report, which is to be updated once repair instructions, parts and warranty information become available, writes: “Affected vehicles can be identified under ‘open campaign’ in DCS Warranty Vehicle Inquiry or ISPA Light with the description: STOP011633 Delivery Stop B330416 No repair available at this time.“
BMW‘s delivery stop action affects 202 examples of the M2 Coupe, M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe, M4 Convertible, M5 Sedan, 5-Series Sedan, 6-Series Coupe, 6-Series Convertible and 6-Series Gran Coupe, which have been assembled from May 12 to July 4, this year.
