This is a 230,000-mile 1991 Acura NSX and it very well could be one of the most desirable NSXs out there.
Why? Because Clarion Builds decided to restore it in every possible way, from installing a complete powertrain from a 2004 3.2-litre six-speed manual model with a supercharger on top to upgrading the brakes and suspension and overhauling the cabin so it doesn’t look dated no more.
The result is not just an original NSX that looks and feels brand new but also one with around 400hp at the crank, courtesy of that Comptech supercharger. Add some sticky tires and a custom exhaust and what you’re left with is one of the most stunning examples of the Japanese sports car.
And since this is Clarion we’re talking about, the cabin now hosts one of their most advanced digital audio systems, complete with a 360-degree camera system and a very tastefully-done leather upholstery.
Matt Farah takes us for a ride in his latest One Take episode so crank up the volume and listen to that VTEC kicking in.
