The Classic Silverstone Auction scheduled for July 30 is the place to be in order to try your luck on this classic BMW M3.
Following the iconic E30 of the ’80s, the E36 generation is a completely different animal that uses a 2,990 cc straight-six engine instead of the four-banger, which used to develop 282 HP back when it was new.
Produced in 1994, this example had just two former keepers and, despite being 22 years old, its clock indicates 39,200 miles (63,086 km), and for a good reason, as it is believed to have been kept in storage for approximately 12 years. The vendor describes it to be “in great original condition” on the outside, which maintains its Avus Blue color, in the cabin and in the engine compartment.
Accompanying it is a service history, which confirms the low mileage and shows five visits to a main dealer and a recent independent one, the BMW book-pack, tool kit, first aid pack and a full set of keys. It’s also good to know that it’s in right-hand drive and if the estimates are correct, then it should change hands for £15,000-£20,000 ($19,690-$26,255).
