One of the most important motoring events of the summer, the Goodwood Festival of Speed, gathered the elite of supercars, much to the visitors’ delight.
After we have seen the McLaren P1 LM put through its paces on the famous hill climb, which managed to become the fastest road legal car to ever lap the course, it’s now time to step in the shoes of a wealthy Ferrari FXX K owner for a short ride on the narrow profile of the famous road.
Grabbing the wheel in the extreme hybrid hypercar is former Formula One driver Rene Arnoux, who has a long history with the Prancing Horse that stretches back to 1983, and on the right seat is vloger Shmee, who strapped his cameras inside the high-performance beast and tried to enjoy the ride without looking too scared.
The track incarnation of the LaFerrari is the latest product of the XX program and uses an upgraded version of the hybrid powertrain that equips the road legal LaFerrari, pumping out 1,050 PS (1,036 HP) and more than 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque.
