A Rolls-Royce is far from ordinary by any account but a special-edition Rolls-Royce is all the more so.
The British luxury automaker just revealed two very special motor cars in Sardinia, inspired by the Italian island’s legendary Costa Smerelda and its glamorous enclave of Porto Cervo.
The pair of special Royces are based on the company’s newest two-door models: the Wraith and the Dawn. The bespoke Wraith features a two-tone silver paintjob with a purple coachline and an interior in shades of blue, purple, slate and black, with ostrich leather to further set it apart.
Joining it is a custom Dawn convertible resplendent in emerald green, its interior in seashell and green leather with open-pore teak trim. Even the trunk is decked out in teak, but the distinguishing feature of this one-of-a-kind convertible is its dashboard bejeweled with emeralds, mother of pearl and white gold, laid out in the form of Porto Cervo’s crest.
The pair were unveiled on the Mediterranean island at the Rolls-Royce Summer Studio, where the company caters to wealthy vacationers (and revealed another special Wraith last summer). Alongside the new Bespoke creations, the company also revealed a pair of leather headrests decorated by noted tattoo artist Mo Coppoletta.
