Ford Performance announced the launch of their power packs for the 2015-17 Mustang GT models.
The three performance upgrades will be available to North American models only, at least for now, and include specific parts straight from the GT350 model, including the cold air intake and manifold.
The entry-level kit consists of a high flow K&N air filter and a Ford Performance calibration which includes a no-lift shift feature among others, adding 13 hp and 16 lbs/ft over stock and a 40lbs/ft gain at 1500rpm.
Moving on to the next upgrade, the Power Pack 2 comes with the GT350’s cold air intake and an exclusive intake adapter. The V8 engine gains 21 hp and 24 lbs/ft with the driver also getting 40 lbs/ft more at 1,500 rpm. Finally, the Power Pack 3 includes the GT350’s cold air intake and intake manifold which along with the calibration gives an extra 37hp and 5lbs/ft and a 60hp gain at 7500rpm.
The upgrade packs will be available for both manual and automatic models, with the latter getting an optimized performance shift schedule, courtesy of that calibration. And the best part: you’ll still get to keep you factory warranty.
