Europe’s compact car segment is booming and Hyundai will soon become more competitive with the new generation of its i30.
The Koreans’ latest model has just been previewed in official teasers and slightly detailed by the brand’s President and Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer:
“It’s a car for everybody – for the design of the new generation Hyundai i30, we didn’t just look at one customer, we focused on a wide range of different people. The design is an evolution of Hyundai Motor’s design language with natural flowing lines, refined surfaces and a sculpted body to create a timeless appearance. With the new generation Hyundai i30, we are introducing our further developed grille: the Cascading grille.“
Designed, developed and tested in Europe, the 2017 i30 will benefit from the latest technology adapted by the company and will go chasing after some of the biggest names in the segment, such as the VW Golf, Ford Focus and Opel/Vauxhall Astra once it will be ready to show its redesigned body, on September 7, before making its debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
