Ken Block Spotted Filming Gymkhana 9 In New York With His Ford Focus RS RX?

Filming for Gymkhana 9 is believed to have kicked off after Ken Block was snapped on the streets of Buffalo, New York.

Seen by an eagle-eyed local, the gymkhana and rally star was pictured standing on top of a car and being filmed by a nearby helicopter on a local bridge.

While only a small portion of the car is visible, it appears to be the same modified Ford Focus RS which Block is currently using in the World Rallycross Championship.

Although this has all the hallmarks of a new Gymkhana film, we’re not holding our breath just yet.

There’s a possibility that Block was filming something else in New York, potentially for one of his sponsors, like Monster Energy or his Hoonigan Racing company. He may also have been shooting a rallycross promo or even something for Ford itself.

Whatever the YouTube sensation is up to, expect it to be epic.
