It seems that exiting a Cars & Coffee gathering has become quite the event for amateur car spotters looking for something interesting to capture on camera.
We’ve already seen way more crashes and near crashes than anybody would have expected from what is otherwise a rather benign event in terms of on-road action.
Previous incidents involve an M4 Coupe driver trying to show off (as they all do), losing control and crashing, a Z28 Camaro barely escaping a similar ordeal and a Mustang that actually crashed into an unsuspecting car – which is what could have happened here.
The car in question here is an E93 BMW M3 Cabriolet, which to this day remains a very quick machine, one that generally needs to be handled by somebody who knows what they’re doing – especially if the goal is to go fast or push the limits of grip.
In other words, with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 and 420 PS at its disposal, the previous generation M3 is the type of vehicle that doesn’t take kindly to having a driver that’s not quick enough (with the steering wheel) to correct an oversteer.
As for that Jeep, it barely escaped getting hit by the out of control Bimmer.
