With 918 examples, the 918 Spyder is not mass-produced but it’s not as rare as other hypercars either.

Fitting an aftermarket body kit is probably out of the question for most, if not all, owners and even though Porsche offers a good deal of customization, some wouldn’t mind adding their individual touch in the simplest way: a new set of wheels.

Not just any off-the-shelf , of course, but something really unique. In this segment price, which can sometimes be close to that of a brand new hot hatch, is most certainly not an issue.

While PUR Wheels have yet to disclose the cost of their new rims, they did say that they have been designed specifically to use the Porsche Centerlock and spin with ease around the carbon ceramic brakes.

Dubbed the RS23.M2, they are forged split-rims that are finished in Black Diamond and measure the same 20×9.5-inch at the front and 21x-12.5-inch at the rear as the stock ones. It’s all about aesthetics, then. We presume not messing with such a finely tuned piece of kit, what with all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering and all, is a good call.
