There’s a more extreme version of the Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate coming out, and it’s expected to make use of the Black Series badges.
Spied on the German Autobahn in prototype form and wrapped in light vinyl stickers, it might look like the regular version of the E63 Estate, if you can call up to 620 PS ‘regular’, but its wider wheel arches are a clear giveaway, and so are the massive tires.
It’s still too early to talk about its design, but the new super Merc will carry a few distinctive cosmetic revisions on both ends, along with some tweaks made to the cabin. Power will come from the brand’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which will be massaged to produce an additional 25-50 PS on top of the ‘regular’ E63 S output.
This means that its total output will likely stand way beyond the 650 PS mark, channeled to the all four wheels. In terms of performance, it will definitely smoke most previous-gen supercars, but before making any unfounded statements, we’d better wait for the Germans to lift the veils off it sometime in the near future.
