In order to further celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Subaru Boxer engine, the Japanese automaker is introducing a new Special Edition Forester with only 100 available units.
The cars go on sale September 1st, which is when customers will be able to purchase either the petrol-powered Lineartronic (CVT) model, priced at £29,995, or the diesel version for £31,495.
The Special Edition is based on the XC Premium model, featuring £1,500’s worth of additional equipment at no extra cost and a comprehensive five-year 100,000-mile (160,000 km) warranty.
Outside, the car boasts a Hunter Green Metallic paint job, front, side and rear under guards, wheel arch extensions, a stainless steel cargo step panel, plus Special Edition brown leather seats with brown leather interior door grips, center armrests and center panel uprights.
Furthermore, the Forester Special Edition also comes with Subaru Starklink (7″ touchscreen), Hill Descent Control (HDC) and the X-Mode system which controls the car’s power and torque, brakes and drivetrain, helping it maintain traction even on slippery surfaces.
