Tuning company Lightweight Performance has just unveiled its new BMW M2, dubbed the LW M2, and giving the sports car a healthy dose of added aggression and performance.
Starting with the engine, the tuners have fettled the turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder to now pump out 443 hp (450 PS), significant more than the 362 hp (370 PS) output achieved by the standard car. To achieve the gains, a new air intake has been fitted alongside 300-cell downpipes, a titanium muffler and carbon fiber exhaust tips.
Lightweight Performance have also enhanced the M2’s driving dynamics with a new front splitter and a large rear wing to improve downforce and stability at high speeds, while larger brakes have also been fitted.
Other custom touches include the 19-inch forged wheels, a distinctive livery and a selection of blacked-out elements across the front bumper.
