Mercedes has released a short teaser video of the AMG GT C Roadster prior to its official unveiling at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The video is partially revealing the profile of the new model with its roof down, but if our guesses are correct, Mercedes is about to add a very attractive two-seater roadster to its portfolio.
The open-top version of the AMG GT is going to use a folding soft top, for obvious weight-saving reasons, while it’ll still use the thunderous twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 under the hood. Mercedes is expected to give the new GT C model various high-performance components straight from the hardtop GT R model, which represents the top of the range.
There is also a good chance the new Mercedes AMG GT C to offer slightly more power from the existing GT S model that’s rated at 503hp, but that remains to be seen when the company releases the full details at the official debut.
