With the Model S, Model X and Model 3, Tesla is targeting what it believes to be the largest market segments for electric vehicles.
However, as EVs become more common, the brand might look to expand its offerings into different niches, as its German rivals do. With that in mind, Rain Prisk Designs has imagined how a potential coupe variant of the Tesla Model S could look.
If it were to be launched tomorrow, a high-spec Model S coupe would compete with the likes of the BMW 6-Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupes.
For his design, Rain Prisk has taken the pre-facelifted Model S and, as you’d expect, removed the rear doors and streamlined the proportions. When combined with a slightly revised front end with a lowered splitter, the end result is quite stunning as the flowing shape of the Model S works brilliantly as a coupe.
