Ken Block has confirmed that Gymkhana Nine will be released on September 13 and has previewed the latest addition to the drifting series on his Instagram page.

For the first time, Block will be piloting his new Ford Focus RS RX in the film, a car specially designed for the rally star for him to race in World Rallycross. This will be the first time it’s been “driven in anger” beyond a racetrack and as you can tell, it’s more than capable of getting a little bit sideways.

Unlike Gymkhana 7 and 8 which saw Block hit the streets of Los Angeles and Dubai, it appears as though the ninth addition will be slightly more conservative, featuring Block doing his trademark stunts at a rail yard somewhere in New York.

Nevertheless, some insane driving and impressive cinematography is bound to make the clip a highlight of next week.
