McLaren is set to debut a new bespoke model at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille on Sunday, at the Concept-Cars parade.
This McLaren Special Operations-engineered car is the first EU-spec McLaren 570GT to feature a bespoke appearance. Its carbon fiber interior bits are finished with a rich gloss lacquer, as opposed to the regular satin lacquer. The gloss-lacquered MSO option also extends to the sills.
Furthermore, the side skirts, front, rear and door inserts are all coated with a “sumptuous” black finish called MSO Piano Black, giving the car a unique black and blue contrast look that’s carried over to the black wheels.
Additionally, MSO Defined has also built a titanium exhaust system which is 30% lighter than what you get in the standard 570GT. The exhaust is finished with golden titanium nitride heat shields, which change color to a blue and purple as the system cools and heats through its cycle – which can be seen through the cooling grids.
Even though McLaren doesn’t say anything about performance, we don’t expect this car to go any faster than the regular model, which is capable of hitting 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds and max out at 328 km/h (203 mph).
The Pacific Blue 570GT will be on display alongside a “beautiful example of haute couture” from Jean-Paul Gaultier.
