Since the Range Rover Sport is one of the world’s most popular and imposing luxury SUVs, it’s no surprise we stumble upon tuned versions of it every now and then.
These images, grabbed from the German tuner’s Facebook page, depict a customer car wearing what Hamann calls a “non-obtrusive” widebody kit that “emphasizes the vehicle’s character, which is already strong.”
The kit also includes two fiber-optic daytime running lights as well as the car’s original fog lights in stock form and function despite the wider front skirt changing their position. In total, this RRS has gained as much as 12 cm (4.7 in) in width to go with the individualized rear trim panel with black of silver anodized Hamann exhaust pipes and Anniversary EVO alloys.
The rims are also built by and they’re called Anniversary EVO. We’re either looking at the Black Line or Hyper Line versions, as the pictures make it a little hard to say which.
In terms of performance, all we can tell you is that this HSE SDV6 model is deceptively quick even when its stock power and torque outputs are left as is. Its 306 PS don’t sound that impressive, but the 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque sure does and makes for a zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of just 7.2 seconds in spite of the 2,115 kg (4,662 lbs) weight.
