Rockstar will be releasing a biker-DLC for GTA Online very soon, but until then, you can kill time with the Redux mod.
If GTA’s vanilla graphics and gameplay weren’t enough to awe you from the beginning, this mod will certainly have you scooping your jaw off the floor. Created by Josh Romito, the mod doesn’t only enhances the game’s visuals with more than 15 re-shade options, but overhauls it entirely.
Basically, it makes GTA more immersive, adding new, realistic lighting effects and 4K textures in the process. You’ll probably need a powerful machine to run it, though, but you’ll get to fight off a re-adjusted wanted system that tweaks the way cops react and sends the military after you at five stars.
Not only that, but the vehicles’ dynamics has been corrected as well, with changes in weight and suspension settings. Even deformation limits have been increased, to allow more realistic crashes.
Since the entire Euphoria engine was modified to resemble the physics in GTA 4, the pedestrians and NPCs now have more unpredictable movements – good in single player mode, not that good in online.
But you won’t be able to have these revamps in GTA Online because Rockstar doesn’t like you messing with their game. Therefore, installing Redux won’t be an easy task, but it will be a blast once implemented. Watch the video below to convince yourself.
