Ford joins the rest of its competitors on the rally stages by taking out the next version of the Fiesta RS WRC.
Unlike the last time we showed you a camouflaged Fiesta WRC, the car in the linked videos is wearing the new generation body that’s set to debut next year.
What makes this year’s championship more fascinating is FIA’s new regulations of course which made the rally cars wider, lighter and more powerful while wearing a much more aggressive aero agenda.
The new Fiesta is going to adopt a more mature and clean design, with the front end dominated by a set of wider headlights and grille while the rear will feature a set of horizontal taillights as you can see in the videos.
The 2017 season of the WRC already seems like it’s going to be really exciting, with Toyota returning to the sport while Citroen, VW, Hyundai and of course Ford through their M-Sport partners already being out there testing their new, insanely fast rally machines.
H/T To Jalopnik!
