A prototype of the M4 Coupe, scooped at the Nurburgring, has caught our attention due to its more-than-usual aggressive stance.
This particular car, which you might remember from a previous set of spy shots, continues to keep parts of its front and rear fascias hidden under camouflage, but the vinyl wraps can’t hide the front apron, sculpted hood and trunk-mounted lip spoiler.
Some of these components seem to come straight from the M4 GTS, which is the most potent member of the family. It’s a fair assumption, then, that this M4 could be the rumored CS/CSL version that will slot in between the standard Coupe and the GTS.
Powered by the 3.0-liter inline-six engine, it could use the water injection system from the high-performance variant, but while its exact output remains unknown, the uploader of the video talks about roughly 460 horsepower. This would make it a bit more powerful over the regular M4, which has 425 HP at its disposal, but not as muscular as the 503 HP GTS.
