While most rave about the new 7-Series’ cutting edge tech, there are many other boxes BMW‘s flagship has to tick.
If you’re in the luxury limo business, all the technology in the world can’t make up for proper, good old fashioned comfort. This means looking at everything from seating positions front and back, legroom, knee room, headroom, luggage space, visibility and so on.
In typical Carwow fashion, this review does let us know that the BMW 7-Series is indeed a tremendous achievement, though still not quite as perfect as it might look on paper – or BMW would have us believe, for that matter.
It would be fair to say that the styling of the 7-Series hasn’t seemed to have blown anybody away as of yet, at least not in most of the reviews we’ve watched since the car came out. Mat Watson mirrors some of those opinions, saying that is has “nondescript looks” – which is another way of saying it looks unexceptional. As for another big minus, well, the options are very pricey, though can you really say anything different about any of its rivals at this point?
Having said that, there are of course quite a lot of cool things to appreciate about the 7-Series, from the way it rides, to its interior quality, the advanced tech and even the huge boot – if you’re interested in that sort of thing.
