In order to keep up with the increased demand of crossovers and SUVs, the prestigious North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) awards have evolved for the 2017 edition with the addition of ‘Utility Vehicle of the Year‘.
Selecting the big winners is not an easy task for the approximately 60 automotive journalists from the United States and Canada, but after the first rounds of voting, they managed to reduce the long list to just three for each category, which have been announced at the Automobility LA, the conference that precedes the 2016 LA Auto Show.
The 2017 winners will be announced on January 9, during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
