Over the past few months, we have been bombarded by numerous 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe encounters, as the car made the transition from test mule to near production-ready prototypes.
After covering almost all of its aspects, starting with the platform, which is obviously shared with the new E-Class Sedan, and ending with its Matryoshka doll-like design that mirrors the C-Class and S-Class, all we can do is wait for the Germans to drop the curtain on the luxury two door model.
That will reportedly happen at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show in January. Until then, we can take a look at this prototype, which has dropped most of its vinyl camo.
It’s one of the regular models in the range, but fear not, as a potent AMG version is in the works, featuring a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which will likely be molded after the E63 AMG sedan being offered in two forms, with 563hp (571PS) and 604hp (612PS).
