If, like most, you own a car without built-in WiFi but want to enjoy its many benefits, a number of telecom companies have the answer with simple plug-in devices.

The latest brand to reveal its dongle is T-Mobile with what it dubs the SyncUp Drive. To use it, an owner simply has to plug it into the OBD-II diagnostics port featured on pretty much every car built after 1996.

The WiFi hotspot runs through T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network and alongside offering occupants WiFi, the SyncUp Drive gives owners the opportunity to analyze driving behavior and to track the vehicle’s location remotely via the available smartphone application. Additionally, the SyncUp Drive is able to detect issues with the car and provide alerts and reminders directly to the application.

U.S. residents can purchase the SyncUp Drive with 2 gigabytes of data for $20 a month, 10 gigabytes for $50 and 22 gigabytes for $95.
