After demolishing the Range Rover SV Autobiography in a separate Auto Express drag race, this particular Bentayga was apparently still hungry for an underpowered opponent, which the Focus RS certainly is.
In fact, the Ford only packs 350 PS, which may be sufficient when you’re going up against other (similar) cars, but against a 608 PS, 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) Bentley Bentayga? That’s a whole different animal.
In a straight line, according to their respective manufacturers, the Focus RS will hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds, whereas the Bentayga needs 4.1 seconds – thought you wouldn’t know it judging by how the cars launched off the line for the first couple of yards, at the beginning of this race.
Of course, the Ford can’t get anywhere near the Bentayga’s top speed of 301 km/h (187 mph), but they only raced over a distance of one kilometer (0.6 miles).
