Aimed at owners who enjoy occasional track day activity without ruining the car’s daily usability, McLaren has released a Track Pack for the 570S.
Priced at £16,500 in the United Kingdom, the option is inspired by the brand’s racing history and adds a 12 mm higher rear wing that boosts downforce by an additional 29 kg (64 lbs) at 150 mph (241 km/h), an MSO (McLaren Special Operations) roof finish in Dark Palladium, a sports exhaust and lightweight alloy wheels.
Tipping the scales at 25 kg (55 lbs) less than the standard coupe, the Track Pack 570S also benefits from Alcantara-trim at the seats, dashboard and steering wheel, along with carbon fiber racing seats. Moreover, the package also includes the brand’s Track Telemetry system, which is found on the 675LT and P1 as well, providing real-time information, from lap times to comparisons between drivers and post-drive analysis.
Except for the 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) sprint, which has dropped by 0.1 seconds to 9.4 seconds, and the same 204 mph (328 km/h) top speed as the standard car, McLaren does not provide any additional performance specs for the Track Pack-equipped 570S.
