Porsche has released another teaser of the upcoming 911 RSR as well as an interactive game before the model’s LA Auto Show debut.
As with the recently-released teaser sketch, the shot above of the RSR’s rear-end perfectly encapsulates the model’s racing prowess which appears dominated by the towering, swan-neck rear wing. Compared to the road car, massively flared wheel arches are also visible.
According to reports, the new 911 RSR may differ from the outgoing model on one key front; it could be mid-engined. While these reports have yet to be confirmed and won’t be until the vehicle’s debut, the teaser sketch as well as recently-spied prototypes have suggested that the German company has pushed the six-cylinder engine forward.
Alongside the new teaser, the German marque has dropped an interactive game on its website which allows you to act as a photographer helping to snap shots of the new 911 RSR on the racetrack. Although the resulting images are intentionally blurry, they do show off the white, red and black livery which the LA show car will have.
Following the model’s debut, the new 911 RSR will complete in series include the European Le Mans Series, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship.
