Hot on the heels of the 2016 Toyota Tank and Roomy models debuting in Japan, the two minivans have been unveiled in TRD-guise.
The brand’s performance division has worked its styling magic on the two models helping to make both look that extra bit sporty and giving them such much-needed road presence.
As standard, the styling of the Roomy and Tank are hard to distingiush and even with the TRD add-ons, the exterior differences between the two are minor to say the least.
At the front, the Roomy can be equipped with a thoroughly revised fascia that includes a large chrome grille, fog lights, horizontal LED daytime running lights and a prominent chin spoiler. Additionally, there are five different wheel options, a set of new side skirts and a subtle lip on the rear bumper.
As for the Tank, its rear end looks identical to the TRD-equipped Roomy. The front is where the most obvious changes are found, including a split black front grille, angled daytime running lights and a slightly different chin spoiler. Optional extras include TRD fuel caps, clear indicators and a start-stop button.
