A previous-generation M3 with more power than a Lamborghini Huracan? Why not?
The tuner responsible for this is G-Power, who added a supercharger to the Bavarian car’s V8 engine.
Available in four output levels, the most humble offering pushes 520 PS (513 HP) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheels. That’s an additional 100 PS (99 HP) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) of torque on top of the standard model, and while the tuner has yet to provide any performance numbers, it’s asking €5,999 ($6,279) for this upgrade.
Pay €1,000 ($1,047) more and your M3 will produce 550 PS (542 HP) and 525 Nm (387 lb-ft) of torque, while for €7,999 ($8,373), G-Power you get 600 PS (592 HP) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. The top upgrade carries an €8,999 ($9,420) price tag and results in the 4.0-liter V8 pushing out a whopping 630 PS (621 HP) and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft) of torque.
G-Power says that, despite the additional muscle, the BMW M3 remains reliable as a daily driver, and that the supercharger system is compatible with all versions of the car. However, the pricing is reduced by 15 percent as part of their ‘X-Mas Edition’ offering until December 23.
