The DB9 stayed into production for more than a decade, but it eventually showed its age, thus its successor is tasked with moving things forward – big time.
Now, the DB11 is not the top dog in Aston Martin’s range (that would be the Vanquish S), and it’s more of a GT than an all-out sports car, but it’s the latest and, arguably, the greatest to come out of Gaydon.
Having owned a V8 Vantage for a year, Doug DeMuro is probably well versed into Aston ownership. Moreover, as we’ve come to expect from his reviews, he doesn’t just focus on the driving experience, but goes about nitpicking the car in order to find the smallest thing that could be either gorgeous or pretty annoying.
Of course, with 600 HP at its disposal from the new twin-turbo V12 and a new chassis, the DB11 is both brutally fast and can handle, too. God (or his adversary), however, is in the detail, and for $250k, one expects nothing but the best in everything. Does the Aston deliver?
