A number of images of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe have leaked online ahead of the model’s official debut on Wednesday.
These pictures from a leaked brochure were picked up by Belgian website AutoTijd and show the E-Class Coupe in all of its stylish glory in both Avantgarde and AMG Line trims.
Generally speaking, the new E-Class Coupe looks just like we had expected, sharing most of its design with the S-Class Coupe and the smaller C-Class Coupe. That means that compared to the sedan, the E-Class Coupe receives a slightly sportier front end, two fewer doors, a sleek new roof line and a set of thin, horizontal taillights.
In the cabin, these images reveal that the model will be available with the brand’s twin 12.3-inch digital screens as well as its advanced 23-speaker Burmester sound system. Compared to the sedan, the most obvious differences appear to be the redesigned circular air vents as well as a pair of new front seats.
The brochure also reveals that there will initially four models available, the E220d, E200, E300 and E400 4Matic. The first of these will feature a 194 PS (191 hp) 2.0-liter diesel mated to a nine-speed transmission. The petrol range then starts with the 2.0-liter, 181 hp E200 and then includes the 2.0-liter, 241 hp E300 and tops out with the 3.0-liter V6 of the E400 4Matic delivering 328 hp.
