Never mind the Exclusive Series – even the “standard” Porsche 911 Turbo S is hardly lacking in power or performance. It packs 580 horses, will crack 60 in under three seconds, and keep going until it’s reached 205 miles per hour. But Edo Competition has taken it even further.
Say hello to the Blue Arrow, a 991.2 Turbo S that’s been dialed up even further. Instead of 580 hp, Edo’s version kicks out 675 brake horsepower. And that boost of nearly 100 horses does wonders.
The German tuner says it’ll reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds, and only 23.4 seconds to hit 186 (299 km/h). That’s 6.2 seconds quicker than the donor car. It doesn’t stop until it’s hit 213.8 mph (342 km/h). And that’s not just the tuner’s claim, as it was confirmed by Autobild at the Lausitzring in East Germany, making this the fastest take on the 991 Turbo S yet.
Of course, Edo Competition didn’t just tweak the engine and leave it there. It fitted a new exhaust system, a GT3 RS-style front hood, and 20-inch lightweight alloys mounted to a suspension that’s been dropped by 30 millimeters. It even managed to lighten the engine and fit a lighter battery as well, all in the name of performance.
