Like the rest of FCA’s huge fleet of vehicles, the Ram 1500 pickup truck has been freshened up for 2018, welcoming a new edition.
Dubbed the Tungsten Edition and first detailed a couple of months ago, the model acts as the most luxurious of all Ram 1500s. It boasts a tungsten-tone chrome grille, black headlight surrounds and body-colored exterior trim. Inside, the Tungsten Edition has two-tone leather, wood trim, a suede headliner and custom carpets.
As for the rest of the 2018 Ram 1500 range, all models adopt 8.4-inch infotainment systems with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Additionally, Sirius Guardian with SOS Call, Roadside Assistance, Remote Services, Send and Go and Vehicle finder are standard, alongside a reverse camera and a Fleet Telematics Module for vehicle tracking.
In terms of engines, there’s a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with 240 hp and 420 lb-ft (569 Nm) of torque, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 providing 305 hp and 269 lb-ft (364 Nm) and a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 complete with 395 hp and 410 lb-ft (555 Nm) of twisting force.
2018 Ram 1500 models now consist of the Tradesman, Express, SLT, HFE, Big Horn/Lone Star, Lone Star Silver, Sport, Night, Rebel, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, Laramie Limited and Limited Tungsten.
Spoiled for choice is an understatement.
