The Mercedes-AMG G63 is one of the most ostentatious vehicles on sale but German tuner Posaidon has decided to make the SUV even crazier.
Whereas the G63’s 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 typically produces 571 hp, Posaidon has lifted that figure to a full-bodied 850 hp and 995 lb-ft of torque. This allows for a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time of just 3.6 seconds and a 285 km/h (177 mph) top speed.
Posaidon was able to achieve such significant power gains for its G63 RS 850 package thanks to a remapped ECU and upgraded transmission internals.
Alongside these upgrades, the G63 RS 850 has new adaptive dampers, 22×10.5-inch alloy wheels with 285/30 tires and brake calipers straight from the S63 AMG.
Customers also have the option of tweaking the interior with this particular G63 complete with numerous carbon fiber accents, yellow contrast stitching, and quilted leather.
