Honda’s UK CR-V lineup is growing with the addition of a new special edition model, expected to arrive in dealerships at the start of November.
The new CR-V S Plus is said to offer customers more features and improved styling for less money, and is only available in two wheel drive with a manual transmission.
Among its standard features are the body-colored front and rear aero bumpers, tailgate spoiler and running boards, making the CR-V look more sporty, yet mature at the same time, according to the Japanese automaker.
The special edition version is based on the S Navi grade, yet includes the following as standard: dual climate control, cruise control, Bluetooth hands free, reversing camera, city brake active system and Honda Connect in-car audio and information system with Garmin navigation.
Customers can choose between the 2.0-liter petrol and 1.6-liter units, though as stated before, they can only get the car with two-wheel drive and a manual gearbox. The S Plus petrol model will be priced at £23,500, whereas the diesel version will cost £24,500. Available exterior colors include White Orchid Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Polished Metal Metallic and Passion Red Pearl.
“This special edition CR-V is a fantastic addition to the world’s best-selling SUV lineup, and will make for a great ending to 2017 for Honda in the UK,” said Honda UK exec, Dave Hodgetts. “The S Plus provides customers with approximately £1,500 of features for free, aligning with Honda’s objective of supplying products of the highest quality, at a reasonable price for utmost customer satisfaction.”
