Mercedes has been hard at work developing the all-new A-Class. That’ll include a sedan for the US market as well, but that’s not all.
Alongside the A, Benz is also working on a new CLA four-door coupe. And here we have it, spied by the intrepid shutterbugs at CarPix while testing in the cold and snow of northern Sweden.
Though still shrouded in camouflage, it’s clear that the next-generation CLA will adopt design cues from the AMG GT concept unveiled in Geneva this past spring. And that bodes well for the sleek little four door, considering how slick that show car was.
Compared to the A-Class sedan, the CLA will adopt a more streamlined form to differentiate it in the same high fashion as it distinguishes the E- and S-Class sedans from the CLS. And we’ll get to see just how it manages that when the new CLA launches sometime next year as a 2020 model.
