The all-new G-Class might have just been unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show, yet a German car dealership wants to sell you a brand new one for €133,600 ($163,476). That’s a hefty premium over the €107,040.50 ($130,977) starting price in its homeland, but hardly surprising as it’s common practice for new, sought-after models…
Since production has yet to commence, however, you won’t be getting delivery of the SUV just yet, but a build slot for an already commissioned example.
The seller’s homepage states that this is the G500, which is the only designation of the 2019 G-Class currently available. It uses a 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine that makes 422PS (416hp) and 610Nm (450lb-ft) of torque, returning a claimed 11.1 l/100 km (25 UK mpg / 21.2 US mpg) and emitting 263 g/km of CO2.
Finished in Obsidian Black, riding on 20-inch AMG wheels and featuring brown upholstery and wood trim inside, this Mercedes-Benz G-Class features a host of optional extras. The list includes the Driving Assistance Package, 360-degree camera system, ambient lighting, Burmester premium sound system, rear entertainment system and a sunroof.
