If the classic, rugged Land Rover Defender is your favorite SUV and James Bond your favorite action hero, you can land a 007 Spectre Edition 110 clone for way less than the original SVX model, which cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

This one, currently on sale on eBay, is priced at $60,000 and while it’s not one of the cars designed specifically for the movie Spectre (aka Bond 24), it still features a Santorini Black exterior, plus many other mods that mirror those of the original.

Aside from the new doors, air conditioning and 2-inch suspension lift kit, this V8-powered 1988 Defender 110 also features a 5-speed manual transmission, new Td5 hinges with stainless hardware, new rubbers and seals, full external roll cage with custom rack and ladder, 37-inch tires on modular rims, side steps, Puma hood, privacy glass, LED lights, a KBX grille and light surrounds, plus a raised bonnet badge. It even has those butch-looking ropes running across the front fascia and the hood.

It’s not quite an identical replica of the original, although to be fair, that would have been hard to achieve seen as how the actual movie cars were supplied by JLR’s SVO division and were then sent to Bowler, who upgraded them even further – thus the ultra high price.

But if you want to get as close as possible to Spectre’s Defender without spending a fortune, this is as close as you can get.
