Ford Australia has made a few updates to the 2020 Mustang GT, which is now available with more colors and the Black Shadow Pack in the Fastback body style.

Offered from AUD $1,000 (USD $701) Down Under, the Black Shadow Pack gives the muscle car a more unique look, with a dark-finished roof, bonnet and side stripes, grille Pony badging and 5.0L guard badging. It also adds unique 19-inch alloy wheels with a 10-spoke design and black look, and can be specced with a black High-Rise rear spoiler.

“The Black Shadow Pack takes the Mustang GT Fastback to another level”, said Chief Program Engineer for the car Carl Widmann. “It gives the classic Mustang lines a sinister flavor that really adds a raciness and competition look to it, and harks back to some of the graphic and decal packages that we’ve had in the past.”

Speaking of the past, the Mustang GT Fastback is also available, from the 2020MY, with several heritage cues. The color palette includes the Grabber Lime, which was first offered in North America on early 1970s Mustangs. Twister Orange is also new for 2020, as are Iconic Silver and Red Hot.

The Mustang also comes with the new 12.4-inch customizable digital instrument display, added to the range in 2019, Recaro front seats and others.

As part of the Ford Service Benefits program, you will be able to service your Mustang for the first four years or 60,000 km (37,282 miles) – whichever comes first – for a maximum recommended price of AUD $299 (USD $210) and enjoy a 5-year/unlimited mileage warranty.

Reintroduced in Australia in 2015, the Mustang is available in Fastback and Convertible body styles. It’s been the best-selling sports car locally for 30 consecutive months, and the world’s best-selling sports car in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
