Peugeot has announced the final specs of the upcoming 3008 GT Hybrid4, the plug-in hybrid version of the popular SUV that’s set to go on sale in late 2019.
The new 3008 Hybrid4 is powered by a combination of a 197 HP, 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol four and two electric motors with 108 HP, for a combined output of 296 HP (300 PS). One of the electric motors is mounted on the rear axle, providing e-AWD, while 0-62mph (100km/h) takes 6.5 seconds.

The electrified 3008 has a 13.2kWh battery pack, can cover up to 36 miles (58km) under electric power alone and can be fully charged in less than two hours through a standard 7kW charging station. CO2 emissions are rated at 29 g/km and the official fuel economy is rated at 1.6 lt/100 km (176.5 mpg UK, 147 mpg US) under the latest WLTP standards.
The new 3008 Hybrid4 will come with plenty of kit as standard, including an exclusive Alcantara Greval Grey upholstery, aged oak wood trim, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go and Lane Positioning Assist.
A front-wheel drive version will follow shortly after the Hybrid4’s market launch, featuring a 177 HP 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbo engine and one electric motor for a total of 221hp (225PS).
“The 3008 SUV GT Hybrid4 is the next step in Peugeot’s electrification journey. It will join the all-new e-208 and e-2008 SUV, and follows our philosophy of ‘choose your Peugeot, choose your powertrain’, as 3008 SUV buyers have the choice between efficient petrol, diesel and the plug-in hybrid electric technology for their car,” said David Peel, Managing Director of Peugeot UK.
