Roundabouts are pretty straightforward to use yet some drivers seem to have a difficulty navigating safely through them.
Take this GMC Envoy driver with North Carolina plates, for example, who was spotted by a dashcam hitting two different cars in a Bloomington, Indiana roundabout in a matter of seconds. Mind you, both crashes were minor but they speak volumes about the driver’s abilities behind the wheel.
At the beginning of the footage, we see the GMC passing a yield sign and heading into the roundabout, even though a Nissan Frontier truck was already circling the intersection.

Realizing at the last minute that they should have given way to the pickup, the SUV driver stomped on the brakes. That was a little too late, however, as the GMC made contact with the truck, causing a small dent on the passenger-side front fender. What happened next was even more dumbfounding as the Envoy reversed into the dashcam-equipped vehicle, despite the fact the cammer honked the horn repeatedly.
According to the video description on ViralHog, the camera car escaped with a scrape on the bumper while the GMC had some bumper damage. “There were two people in the GMC who didn’t seem to speak great English, and both tried shaking our hands, which we both declined,” the cammer says.
Despite all this, the SUV driver managed to once again surprise the folks they had just hit by leaving the scene. “I talked on the side with the truck owner to let him know I had dashcam footage, so I was getting his number to send him the footage. While that was going on, the GMC just left,” the cammer recalls.
