A heavily modified 1976 Ford Bronco recently sold for $195,250 during an online auction earlier this month.

This gorgeous Bronco was thoroughly modified for a recent iteration of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. While we’re doubtful the new owner will dare take it off-roading and potentially damage the pristine paintwork, it is a real thing of beauty.

Underpinning the vehicle is a bespoke RS4R chassis from Roadster Shop that provides the Bronco with fully independent front suspension. It has then been outfitted with Fox Racing suspension components that include 2.5-inch coilovers and twin-bypass shocks. All up, there is 12-inches of suspension travel at the front and 13-inches of suspension travel at the rear, the Barrett-Jackson listing reveals.

Adding to the off-road credentials are a set of 35-inch tires that sit on custom power-coated American Racing ATX beadlock wheels. There are also Baer six-piston brake calipers at all four corners with 15-inch discs at the front and 14-inch discs at the rear. Also featured is a winch, side steps, and wheel arch flares.

Sitting at the heart of the vehicle is a Coyote 5.0-liter Ford V8 engine adorned with a Whipple supercharger mated to an automatic transmission. It is unclear how much grunt the Bronco has but we’re sure it is a weapon in a straight-line.

Comprehensive work has been done to the cabin, including the fitment of a Kicker six-speaker audio system, power steering, power windows, custom leather seats, a full roll cage, and a new dashboard.

Paying almost $200,000 for a Ford Bronco is a lot but a stunning example like this one could prove to be a very good investment.
